What's goin' down
You know, I've realized that you don't really see a whole lot of Zombie Apocalypse role play forums, but you sure do see a lot of those kinds of movies and games lately. So, I figured I would give it a try, create one and see how it really goes.

So, here it is! Apocalypse! A story that takes place in the fictitious city of Vanetica, Michigan. Testing for cures to cancer gone wrong, the infection started on lab rats who chewed through their cages and attacked the scientists. When Alice Marie Edwards returns to work at the Vanetica Science Labs, she finds a horrible scene. Everyone is dead... Or undead! Bodies lay all over the floors and people are walking around with blood seeping from their eyes and ears and others with it dripping from their mouths. Luckily, Alice's background in the United States Army taught her to approach the situation carefully, so she leaves the facility and alerts the authorities.

The facility gets put under a quarantine. No one enters. No one leaves. After scanning Alice for infections, and results coming clear, they conclude she is not a threat and they release her to go about her life as usual. But the infection could not be contained...

During a search of the facility to determine the cause of the infection, rats manage to escape and are loose in the city. They start with attacking just animals, but those animals go home to their humans, or become rabid on the streets and attack those passing by. The infection spreads quickly. Everyone is advised to remain indoors and kick out the pets. Some obey and some do not. It does not matter. The infection spreads fast and a quarantine of the city of Vanetica is issued by the United States Government. Fifty-foot high walls of the strongest material are constructed around the city within days. All who reside, infected and not alike, are trapped inside. Including Alice...
